VideoTools is a client-side web application. This means all video processing happens entirely in your web browser using WebAssembly technology (specifically, FFmpeg.wasm).

When you select a video file:

• The file is loaded into your browser's memory only
• Processing occurs locally on your device
• The processed video is generated in your browser
• Downloads happen directly from your browser to your device

At no point are your videos uploaded to any server or transmitted over the internet.

Video Files: We do not collect, store, process, or have access to any video files you work with on VideoTools.

Personal Information: We do not require accounts, registration, or any personal information to use VideoTools.

Technical Information: We may collect minimal, anonymized technical information such as:

• Browser type and version (for compatibility purposes)
• Page visits (to understand which tools are most useful)
• Error reports (to improve the service)

Note: We do not use third-party analytics or tracking services at this time. Any future implementation would be privacy-respecting and clearly disclosed.

Cookies: We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising purposes.

Local Storage: Your browser may temporarily store data in local storage for:

• Theme preferences (dark/light mode)
• Tool settings and preferences

This data remains on your device and is never transmitted to any server.

Hosting: VideoTools is hosted on a web hosting service. The hosting provider may collect standard server logs (IP addresses, request times) for operational purposes.

FFmpeg.wasm: We use the open-source FFmpeg.wasm library, which runs entirely in your browser. No data is sent to the FFmpeg project.

Since we don't collect or store your videos or personal data, there's no risk of data breaches related to your content. Your videos exist only on your device.

We recommend using HTTPS (which this site provides) to ensure secure communication between your browser and our servers when loading the application.

Since we don't collect personal data or store your videos:

• There's no personal data to access, modify, or delete
• You have complete control over your video files at all times
• You can clear browser storage/cache to remove any local preferences

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
